Its all b*******s mate. if a player has this clause it doesnt mean a club cant sell him for less. If a player wants to leave and his agent is a c**t then the clause wont stop them. plus, in spain for example these clauses dont really have substance. its just a way for the club to show tthe player how much they rate him. for instance, I think Villa have a release clause of 150m euros.

we could have subbed Gerrard and not Henderson if we are worried about important players who have a history with injuries getting injured today.. I hope thats all it really was. so he has two years left in his contract. Why didnt we offer him a new one?

I dont love Pacheco. My point is that we keep making the same mistakes season after season. Pacheco isnt a top player, but he is creative, he can dribble. we lack those attributes massively in the team.

fine. I hope im wrong and Downing and Cole will have a great season scoring 10 and assisting 15 each. but they wont. we showed a lot of faith in them and eneded up a mid table team who can barely score.

I see people forgot already about his performances last season.

I just think Pacheco is a better player. at the very least, let him play a few "lesser" games to increase his value and sell him.

I really dont care what he did at rayo. I know what I see when he is here. he isnt a world beater, but he shows more then downing. I have seen enough from Downing to know he doesnt deserve to wear the LFC shirt again. You say Pacheco didnt do much at rayo. what did Downing do at LFC?

he showed in the tour he is better then (or at least as good as) Cole and Downing. I dont think Sterling showd more (although Im glad he is in the squad). we say that these games in europe is a good chance to let the younger players get playing time, yet Pacheco doesnt get the chance even when the squad is missing the leading players in his position. he deserves to be there more then Cole and Downing.

I just cant understand what Pacheco needs to do to get a chance. he is the best we have available to the inside forward spot right now, it was clear in the tour. very frustrated with this.

the fact Allen wasnt mentioned then doesnt mean he isnt one of those players. and those 3-4 layers probably include Borini.
