  2. I agree they've seen through him, I agree with an earlier point that they are limited by what they can say on tv. They also have to be careful in general about what they say about Roy. I'll watch it again later, read some other opinions on a few boards and see what that does. I'm only going on my opinion based on what I felt. I've not read a lot of what they've said beforehand. The beauty of the internet is that I can gauge what others have made of something and take it onboard. For all of us I hope he is for the chop, just not seeing that at the moment.
  3. I've listened to what I could, then decided that they're not going to act quickly on Roy. I've played back the first part (the first answer on Roy) and typed what was said. I don't have a photographic memory so had to do that. The whole tone was one of patience, John Henry even gave that as his main message at the end. I take from that they are not going to sack him sometime soon. I'm as unhappy about that as anyone, if anyone wanted to take something positive (like his imminent sacking) from tonight it was me. I just don't think that is going to happen, not only that but we have some very winnable fixtures coming up and they will only prop the useless buffoon up. But they don't appear stupid, he's gone when they're ready to replace him. Which again, taking the whole tone of their answers, isn't very soon. Again, different opinions are just that, not a cause to fall out or to throw personal abuse over. I certainly won't be cheering if he stays, I want him out.
  4. Werner We feel like we just got here, Roy got here shortly before us. You can see what Roy said, nobody, least of all Roy was happy about our performance last weekend. We all know we have to perform better especially on the road. I think I heard a statistic that under Rafa we won only one game in 2010 under his tenure. (Henry 'on the road') And so, but we believe in what Roy is doing and we certainly feel like the performance has to improve he would be the first to say that. No spin, just what he said
  5. No we've just come to different conclusions. I'll watch it again later. There's no real shame in having a different opinion you know, it is human. If anything I should know better.
  6. Considering that it was the first real question and that it was the first answer and that all subsequent similar questions were batted away as it having been answered I thought it was important. But hey. I actually want him gone yesterday, I hate him. I think they'd be fools to keep him.
  7. Here we go. Yes I heard them, I also heard the rest of the comments. I don't think they like him, I don't think they believe he is good enough but I don't see them getting rid until the end of the season. Time will tell. On the face of it our opinions mean f*** all. Nice to see you've dropped the personal stuff now.
  8. Resorting to personal insults isn't helping. We will have to see what happens, neither of us knows for sure. I don't really want to get into some childish argument with you. He won the John Bishop DVD for best caller.
  9. Werner said he believed in what Roy was doing. Henry effectively followed Roy's lead and blamed the squad for the result against Newcastle. If spin is repeating what I heard then whey hey I'm a f***ing spin master. We have different opinions, I'm shocked.
  10. They answered the first question about Roy saying they believed in what he was doing. Blamed the results on the squad.
  11. Didn't they say something like the short term solution isn't always the best one. I'd be shocked if they sacked him any time soon. I genuinely felt that they want to take time to do things. I'll watch it again but it will only strengthen my opinion.
  12. Nah, I got the impression that they were addressing the elephant in the room a few times, and the big message was patience. They said they believed in Roy, doesn't mean they do. But I got the impression they will keep him in his job until the summer and you can't really change that. We will have to agree that you're wrong.
  13. I feel sorry for Graham.
  14. Seemed that way to me, can't see how you can just say it didn't. Unless you're in our heads.
  15. Roy blasted the squad earlier today, really tried hard to set the agenda for this but in the end it failed.
  16. if Roy was watching that then he will think he has come out of that really well.
  17. They cannot really say anything but they are the ones that can act. The important part is they are listening.
  18. Darren, that's Roy on the phone!
  19. They are not exactly thin on the ground.
  20. They believe in what Roy is doing.
  21. Over for the game tomorrow, the poor b******s I bet even they didn't think they could sink any lower.
  22. Roy hasn't left Liverpool. A malicious rumour 3 minutes ago via Twitter for BlackBerry® From Kenny
  23. Why am I hoping that this means they had to drag him out of the building screaming?
  24. Of course he has a computer, how else does he play Football Manager 1975?
