  1. Raul has just had his best season for years for the club where he is a legend; I couldn't honestly see him leaving. Elisha suggested it's someone totally unexpected so the likes of Vieri; Rui Costa; Figo; Seedorf; even Maldini (really mental, but we need a left back), might be the sort of area.
  2. Still sounds like Milner or Downing to me unfortunately
  3. Christian Vieri to replace Crouch; great CV but past his best
  4. Robben was a diving s*** in the puppet Community Shield as well.
  5. From TLW; Ajax full back Hatem Trabelsi is currently on Merseyside discussing a possible Bosman transfer to the reds. The Tunisia defender flew in to Liverpool airport from Holland today after Rafa Benitez finally appeared to have accepted defeat in his attempt to sign Sevilla's Daniel Alves. The reds were hoping to bring in Alves to play predominantly on the right of midfield, as well as providing cover for the right back spot. However, Sevilla have steadfastly refused to budge on their £12m asking price, which was out of Liverpool's price range, and Benitez has now set his sights on a cut price double swoop for Trabelsi and Jermaine Pennant to give him more options on the right flank. The rest of the transfer kitty will be used to try and prise Dirk Kuyt away from Feyenoord. Dutch full back Jan Kromkamp is expected to return to Holland, with Ajax his most likely destination as the Amsterdam club look to replace Trabelsi. There is also the possibility that Benitez may try to use Kromkamp as part of a package to tempt Feyenoord into selling Kuyt. Kromkamp's signing was only ever seen by Benitez as a shrewd piece of business, as not only did he manage to offload Josemi as part of the deal, he knew he could raise £2-3m by selling the Dutchman back to his homeland this summer.
  6. Looks like "Calcio"
  7. Shame they never got to do that Last Tango in Paris.
  8. Just think of the footballing genes their offspring would have.

  10. "No, you piss in it first"
  11. Is that the shirt of the South American club (Uruguay/ Colombia?) that are also called Liverpool?
  12. In the final here last year; half of you were crucifying me.
  13. Peter often wished Melwood wasn't on the airport flightpath.
  14. If I play this invisible pipe; trophies will follow me wherever I go.
  15. Heard a rumour that Anderson will play; anyone else heard anything?
