Xabi missed Fulham after getting 2 reds on the sunday. Oh yeah. Fair enough. Rather we had him for Bolton.

how come he missed WBA? That's our next game isn't it? WHen it's two yellows does the one game ban not kick in AFTER the next match?

Maybe we can't really argue with both yellows - but Dowd was living proof today of ref's not understanding the game - and not understanding certain fixtures. Would it really have been too much for him to pull Stevie to one side and say "Wise up. Do that again and i'll have to book you"? As soon as it happened, you also knew he'd have to sent off an Everton player. One of the worst refereeing performance i've seen it a while. Dowd is always smug, limelight-hoggin t*** but today he was especially egregious! Can't believe that it turned out to be such a cracking match, since he did his best to ruin it. Can anyone confirm Stevie will miss West Brom? I'd be kind of relieved if that was the case. We have Bolton coming up.

Cheers mate. I've never actually seen him play. Lots of good things on here though.

Does he fancy us though? Or is he miffed that Barca and Real haven't moved/waiting for them to do so?

I agree with the original post. If Chelsea get through i want them. If we are to get beat by them, i'd rather it be in the semi's. Couldn't bare losing a final to them, and watching that git John Terry lift the cup. I'd be quietly confident though.
