From anfield online Liverpool could be set to replace Olympicos in the Champions League after Greek football was suspended from international competition. Fifa has suspended European champions Greece and its member clubs from international competition because of government interference in the sport. World governing body Fifa said the Hellenic Football Federation had broken rules on "the independence of members and decision-making in each country". It means Greek clubs and officials are banned from European competitions. The suspension will be in place with "immediate effect and until further notice", according to a Fifa statement. Although Greek officials are believed to be working furiously behind the scenes, Liverpool currently sit as the top ranking team in the 3rd qualifying stage. If the FIFA ban remains in place, then Liverpool will be set to be upgraded to automatic group stage qualification.

If you don't care how many goals Bellamy scored, compared to Cisse, why the f*** did you post it the first time around? I posted cus, I don't believe Bellamy has proven that he is better than Cisse. It doesn't matter who out scored who with one or two goals. They are in the same range, even though Cissé played as a winger and not a striker. Unfortunatly since the danish branch board only goes three months back I can't prove my statement about you quoting the sun, but I remember a discussion we had about it. You should too actually, but hey I'm not expecting you to be a man about it so be it. Further contact between you and me can be done on MSN or via mail, as I'm sure no one here cares about it. And quite frankly I'm not up for a debate on who is the better Liverpool fan.

I have plenty of faith. Im just saying that signing those players mentioned above, does not make us that much better. We need more. I'm not saying that Liverpool will not buy more. But you bring in a left back on free transfer, an unknown defender, and still haven't recieved a work permit on a winger. Thats all for now. In all fairness, the team is not that much stronger than last year beacuse of those signings. We are still a right winger and two strikers away. I guess. So as said, im not that impressed yet. I don't know how things will pan out. But hopefully Rafa will prevail. As for Jezzman, I really don't care how many goals Bellamy and Cisse scored last season. Bellamy played for a s**** team, and Cissé played out of position the whole season. Before he does the job, I think I'm entitled to question the purchase. I don't think big names are the only way forward, but players get big on their quality as players, and we could use some proven quality if we want to knock Chelsea off the top spot. And I do take offense on your remark about me going out and supporting Chelsea. Where do you get off to write that smud.
