So you think this sort of thing hasnt gone on before at LFC? Paisley, Dalglish, even Shankly, all had others lined up by our then loving and caring (and apparently faultless) previous chairmen and boards. However you look at it it happens, and yes, people do get over it.

So someone suggested reading between the lines in Hicks statement. Why? Someone else (well quite a few), said Klinsman was offered Rafas job. Err , no, not according to the statement, and not according to the man himself. And this wouldnt be the first time another manager was spoken to as an 'insurance'. In fact I'm willing to bet it happens a lot more than people think. Sometimes you just have to accept that someone might, just might, be telling the truth, however much you might not want to believe it. Lets f***in move on eh?

..................because they were paragons of virtue as far as LFC was concerned, never undermining any manager, or takin g any money from the club.or were they? people sometimes dont have a clue.

Well people wanted a statement!! To be quite frank I think Hicks' openness is refreshing here. As someone said earlier, they had communication problems, and maybe thought Rafa would walk. Klinsman was never offered a job, Rafa was never threatened with the boot, wheres the problem?

If you cant afford to buy them, you make them. Stevie G is a great example. Im thinking of Lucas and the like. could be world class sooner than we think, and the arsenal model is a good one to follow.

Bascombe, the 'Liverpool in his heart' writer, now works for the NOTW, the sunday edition of the s*n. Now I know a mans got to make a living, but how many of you, seriously, could work for them??

Couldnt agree more, she was described only a couple of months ago (by none other than Lance Armstrong) as currently the best cyclist on the planet. Unfortunately cyclings somewhat tarnished image at the moment wont help here cause, and the fact that if it doesnt apear on the back pages of the tabloids it isnt a sport 'in the public eye'.

Assassin aka Garry.......... Hmmmm, not the same Garry who once spent two days tied to a bed on the way home from a game by any chance? If not, sorry mate!!!!!
-
He's well thought of by those on KT. No he isnt. Christ, some people cant let it go can they.

Right, this might upset a few, and thats not the intention, but here goes. Surely the most fitting tribute to the 96 is the team playing football? The world keeps turning, and while the fight for justice should never stop until that aim is achieved, I'm not sure not playing means anything. And yes, I was affected by Hillborough in many ways in case anyone asks. Can anyone tell me if Man United, Juventus, Bolton, Rangers or Bradford play on thier respective aniversaries?

My best memory of the day (there are lots!!) is of the Newcastle fans parked next to us in the Wembly car park after the game, busy peeling off a malcolm macdonald sticker from the window. One of them came over to us, shook our hands and said 'well done, different class mate'. Priceless.

A big difference of opinion here. I thought he had a good game yesterday, one of the newer refs, most of whom are quite alright. Yes he makes mistakes, and its easy to pick out individual decisions that were maybe wrong in hindsight, but his overall handling of a potentially difficult game was spot on in my opinion.

Exactly. Didnt our very own Nando tell Madrid that he would sign for Liverpool or not at all? Owen could have done it, SWP could have done it, Duff could have done it (but luckily didnt!!!) . No sympathy for any of them.
