  13. I thought I'd read on here that the official date was the first of June? Makes me wonder if all images we've seen of the shirts are b******s as well? REDS CONFIRM ADIDAS DEAL http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/kits/ Liverpool Football Club and adidas have confirmed a new sponsorship deal which comes into effect from July 2006. Under the terms of the agreement, adidas will become the Official Sportswear Supplier to the Club. The partnership is a natural alliance between the number one football brand and the current UEFA Champions League winners, and will see Liverpool FC provided with the latest, most advanced sportswear. Liverpool joins an exclusive list of Clubs who benefit from adidas' expertise including Real Madrid, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Ajax, Olympic Marseille and the recently signed Chelsea FC (season 2006/7). Rick Parry, Chief Executive, Liverpool Football Club, said: "We had a very successful partnership with adidas in the 1980's and are delighted to be teaming up with them again. adidas has a fantastic football heritage and we know that we will work well together. We are looking forward to producing a range of products that the fans will be proud to wear." Erich Stamminger, President and CEO of the adidas brand, added: "adidas has a long tradition of working with the top football clubs globally, and Liverpool has always been one of the World's leading teams. Most fans will know our previous proud heritage with the Club and that we have delivered some of their most iconic shirts to date. We are delighted to have the opportunity to reignite this relationship and build a long and dynamic partnership going forward."
  14. Good luck Paddy.... He was one of my favorite players. Used to love seing him hammer the ball towards goal with his left leg. Too many injuries though... Villa's Berger ponders retirement option May 11, 2006 Frustrated by nagging injury, Patrik Berger is seriously considering retirement. The Czech Republic midfielder played only nine times for Aston Villa this season after a free transfer from Portsmouth. Berger said: "When you have injury problems like I have had this season, the hardest part is the mental side of it. "When you see the fit lads going out to enjoy training, that's the most difficult bit. "I'll be 33 this year and don't really want to have another season like this. "If I had to go through the same next year, I'd be thinking it was time to hang up my boots and go home and enjoy my life."

  17. I was away to a few Asian countries this past week on business and while in Thailand (Bangkok) I walk into a packed pub to watch the LFC-Villa game. Right across me there's a four fat and heavily tattooed 40-50 year old English lads, all wearing Sheff. Utd shirts, sitting and I wont repeat the s*** that came out about LFC from them. It got SO much worse when at one point the were yelling some s**** like "Hillsborough whores", or something in that direction and I turned my back to them a revealed the print "Justice 96". They kind of went a bit quiet on that occasion, but after a few minutes they were at it again.... To be honest I didn't know there was any bad blood between LFC and Sheffield Utd, but perhaps that's because of my age, so can anyone fill me in on this....?? Or was it just four a*****s having a tasteless laugh... never got to be any violence, but there was hate in the air that's for sure....

  23. Get a f***ing grip will you. I base my opinion on what I see with my own eyes, but to be honest I don't consider myself to be all-knowing and therefore I tend to base my opinion on what clever people say and value that piece of information as well. It's called learning from people who knows more than you - I'm pretty sure you could really benefit from it as well. God are you narrow minded....
