I'm not going to go into why he deserves a 'Thank You' from us or whether we deserve one from him for the CL victory last season, but we are obviously not 'cash rich' so to give away a valuable asset for nothing makes no sense to me whatsoever. He is in his early 30's and potentially has 5 years or more left in him, is a CL winner and international GK for Poland, is younger than and boasts a better pedigree than Van der Saar who United paid £M's for. Sell him, and fine him first for bitching to the press.
