must have missed that bit, I watched it in a pub in kent and I left the pub in disgust at the people there for calling 10 out of the 11 trinidad players "black c****" and using the N word so often I called them c**** and left. and that n word wasnt nigel

Was thinking about this, paraguay, no decent chances leap to mind, trinidad and tobago crouch's volley I suppose and owen kneeing the ball after the goalie palmed the ball back at him?, sweden, none leap to mind either, ecuador one for lampard I suppose, portugal, none. Thats why they lost, 6 goals, 2 close range headers they rest were long shots.

I agree with you there, I remember once when we lost 2-1 at old trafford and in the first half he tore us to bits, he just took the ball and ran past josemi (not that difficult I grant you) every time and he looked terrific. Sadly those performances are few and far between from what I have seen

Yeah, at the end of the day england lost on penalties however, england didnt create enough gilt edged chances and when they created half chances they didnt take them. I can't remember a one on one in 5 games either.
