I would change Markovic (impressed yesterday but assume he at this stage has to be seen as just an sub with great impact) with Allen, and go with Sterling as the front of the diamond

He is fast over longer runs, but IMO not when he move over shorter areas chasing the ball or opponents. An example is the first half against Dortmund.

The problem with our midfielders are that neither Can, SG or Lucas are fast enough. This is vital for our pressing. Much of our play are based on putting pressure on our opponents and move quickly when we have the ball. Lucas and SG can not play together. I really like Can and think he will be really good, but I also doubt he and SG will succeed together in a midfield 2 (or3). Would really like another midfielder in for Lucas (I am gratefull for everything Lucas has done and I like him but sadly he is past it)

Although I an happy with most of our new signings I am still concerned about the lack of depth in our squad, especially in wide attacking area and the forward potition. It is obvious that Brendan is looking for a new striker, but I would like us to add another quality wide man/ATM. At the moment we are one injury to Stirling away from "crisis". At the moment both Lallana and Markovic (Rumours that Sturridge who did not train last night is injured as well) are injured an Coutinho is mainly playing in the middle. Based on this I hope we can bring in one wide player (Shaqiri?) and a striker in addition to Moreno and Manquillo.

Is this the feeling Swansea-fans have or is it rumours coming from people inside the club?

I guess City don't want to sell to us but Stevan Jovetic would be superb in our team. Throw 25 mill to Pellegrini, Brendan ! :-)

IMO we also need an upgrade on Lucas. In an ideal world we should also have a better RB than Johnson and Flanno

I agree on this. Although I am excited about the prospect of signing Markovic, he just scored 6 goals in 26 matches from start (+ 12 as sub). I fear we have too big expectations for him. We need decent back up for Sturridge, a top top midfielder, two fullbacks and a center back

Looks more and more likely that Sanchez is joining Arsenal. According to chilean journalist Felipe Bianchi, Sanchez has said farewell to the Barca staff tonight and want to join Arsenal :-(

I like Flanno. Great attitude and a local lad, but if we want to be real title contenders we need better than him and Johnson. Good to have in the squad

I am no scout :-) Have just watched him on telly 2-3 times for Toulouse. Not good enough to judge him on that but based on what I saw he could be an upgrade on Johnson IMO
