Thanks, I'll keep that in mind:)

    Carragher

That would surely be a real disaster.

So, why was Benitez sacked, Carra? Any players that went behind his back? Anyone that refused to play in certain positions?
  5. This sentence from Werner today indicates that there is someone with a well-known name coming in. Quote We are in the process of securing a number of key people in the football operations department. I believe that when they're announced there will be a great sense of enthusiasm from our supporters.
  6. I expect FSG to give Rodgers a substantial transfer budget to work with. They have really gone for a risky project and they will be eager to make it a success. If kenny or Rafa had failed few would have blamed the owners. If Rodgers fails FSG will have committed a pr and commercial suicide. I am getting really optimistic. Can't wait to see how our transfer dealings will be this summer.
  7. I want Rodgers now. The thought of Martinez has suddenly become totally unbearable.
  8. Ask if his wife speaks English.
  9. Ayre made a point out of hiring and announce the new dof before the manager. Something changed? f***ing shambles.
  10. f*** it!! Have we been talking to anyone else? f*** this process! And the fact that whelan is the one that tells us who's going to be our new manager??!
  11. Interesting. Says that we contacted Rafa before the sacking of Kenny. Rafa wants insurances of the willingness to invest in the team before he accepts. http://www.sport.es/es/noticias/inglaterra/spanish-power-1799561
  12. Maybe they planned to fire him, had a new guy coming in. This new guy decided not to, so they thought "hey, let's just promote the f*****"
  13. After the initital shock hearing about the sacking I actually felt optimistic for a while. My thinking was that they had to have something big to announce if the aftermath to please the fans. As it now turns out that Ayre is pulling the strings, Martinez likely to be our next manager, no big name coming into the DoF position.... I just feel empty. This is f***ing s*** if it turns out the way it's looking at the moment. I bet it's f***ing ayre vetoing an approach for Rafa.
  14. I want to punch Ian Ayre. My god he just can't stop talking! The rumours about him leaving made the fact that he's still here hard to take.
  15. THERE will be no exodus of top players from Anfield in the wake of Kenny Dalglish’s sacking, insists Ian Ayre. Liverpool legend Alan Hansen raised concerns that the likes of Luis Suarez, Pepe Reina, Martin Skrtel and Daniel Agger would consider their futures following the manager’s departure. But Reds managing director Ian Ayre said yesterday: “I spoke to all our senior players yesterday and I don’t think that will happen. “Of course Kenny is an important part of the fabric of the club and always will be. “There isn’t anyone who won’t be disappointed with the decision but at the same time players are respectful. “It’s about the football club. We are talking about going forward, not going backwards.” Ayre says plans for the transfer window are continuing despite the absence of either a manager or director of football. “The manager and the director of football were not the only people involved,” Ayre added. “There is a whole process of scouting, recruitment and finding players. That goes on every day at this club. “In terms of negotiations with agents and players, I have been deeply involved with that. “It is business as usual in that sense. “I don’t think anything has had to stop as a result. “But we are not going to move those decisions on, about who we might buy or about who might go. They are all in abeyance until we put the people in place.” Add a comment Recommend

Do you have an idea of how the owners rate Rafa or if he is on the shortlist?

s***. The rumours of Ayre leaving seems quite inaccurate.... Ian Ayre insists he will remain at the club © PA Photos Enlarge Related Links News: Dalglish 'disappointed' at Liverpool dismissal News: Kenny Dalglish sacked by Liverpool News: Whelan advises Martinez against Liverpool job Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre has insisted the club are yet to draw up a shortlist of potential successors to Kenny Dalglish as the club's manager. Dalglish was dismissed from his position on Wednesday, after a season that saw victory in the Carling Cup tempered by a disappointing eighth place finish in the Premier League. Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has immediately been installed as the hot favourite for the Anfield post, but Ayre denied the Spaniard was already on the club's shortlist. "Not at the moment, no," Ayre told Sky Sports, when asked if the club already had identified any candidates for the job. "We come back tomorrow and look for a new appointment, that's when we start on that." Ayre revealed that league form was the primary reason why Reds owner John W Henry decided to remove Dalglish from his position, one the Scot took up - originally on a temporary basis - after Roy Hodgson was fired in the early weeks of 2011. "Results, perhaps, were not where we wanted them to be and that drives the decision," Ayre noted. "We feel it's the right decision and one we have to move forward with, but there's lots of praise and admiration for him. "We have a big long-term plan for this football club, we've always talked about progress and moving forward. We've made a lot of progress off the pitch, creating a lot of foundations to build the business on and improve revenues, and the next important thing to move forward is football." Ayre was evasive when asked whether Dalglish could be set for a quick return to Anfield in an ambassadorial or boardroom role, saying "that's a discussion for the future", but was quick to reject reports that he is set to be the next high-profile figure to lose his job at the club. "Absolutely not," he said. "No question from my point of view [that I will leave], and certainly no indication of that from upstairs." © ESPN EMEA Ltd FeedbackPrint

Good shout. But no.1 target should be Rafa imo

If Kenny goes and Rafa is not appointed I will blame Ayre.
  22. No. 8 in the league and that c*** Evra will be lifting the scums 20th trophy. Can a season get any s***tier than this?
  23. Main issue for me is that Swansea clearly has a plan how they want to play football. Watching us play this season it seems that we don't have the slightest idea.
  24. Thanks. Heard anything more about Valero?
  25. You think Kenny will stay?
