our league record is irrelevant unless you like reciting stats about most successful english team or enjoy media recitals of it. its history now need to focus on winning the next one and not united losing to keep our record
it does for me i wanted united to lose but once liverpool were knocked out the result is academic in many ways. joy of winning it is in no way matched (not even close) by joy of united not winning it. brings them closer to our record but that is just stats and irrelevant in many ways. i'm more concerned about our future.
grant will get bullet now united's name was on it like ours in 2005 chelsea losing lessens pain of united winning. anyway its history now. on to next season, new owners for us, settled team and hopefully a title
next time we play united i'd stick gerrard at right back and get him to pick up ronaldo when they have ball. he'd have free reign to bomb forward when we did. ronaldo is not interested in doing any running back at all
