He had a really good season up until he got injured, goal scoring aside, he was really good in creating chances, particularly for Darwin. The injury, or rather the re-injury, has impacted his play in my opinion. If you remember, when he came on against Brentford, the same game Jota got injured], he had scored and could have scored another two more goals, he was everywhere. But he reinjured himself in that game, and was out up until recently, I don't think he's gotten into the groove of things as much as quick as he would have otherwise [he wasn't bad against Brighton, he was involved and was dangerous].

Or it may not be more complicated, you and I won't know for sure, in anycase. What I do know, what Endo didn't do, is get to his man quick enough, to block the cross that lead to the goal, that's a basic thing. Blocking a cross/shot in to your six yard box, is not complicating. Now he may have not had the legs to do it, and he may have overlooked the run that lead to that situation, but that's not complicating.

I didn't say the forgot them, they aren't doing it. Whatever the reason, physical and mental fatigue, all understandable but they aren't doing what they're asked to do. It's not as if our coaches are telling them going into a game, ''just remember what you learned when you were a kid''. There are clear tasks/assignments that every player has in any professional side, let alone a top football team under a manager like Jurgen and his coaching staff.

Things that is taught at the academy level, things that these players knew how to do clearly but haven't done in recent games. Look at the goal we conceded yesterday. Look at Endo's involvement in that [not that he's the only one who was poor in that sequence], everything he did there was wrong.
