So I have seen this posted elsewhere on the internet by another chap, who wouldnt reveal his source, but it provides an insight into our system for signing players and how we're trying to implement the moneyball theory. He didnt provide the source of course, but i suspect this is something to do with his line of work, and hes not the sort to make stuff like this up.

wouldnt surprise me if one of the T&C's was that if the loan was broken in january we have to pay back the fee West Ham paid.

Could be that they wanted to appoint one but Rodgers wouldnt work with one. Would certainly be a reasonable explanation for Rodgers U-turn over the job. They could equally still be looking to find the right man.

Do i need to qualify it with all the good things hes done? Clearly the good outweigh the bad things here, but this is one bad aspect of his management tenure that was topical right now. Its not like ive defiled the man, ive made a picture based around what we've all seen happening in the past 12-18 months. Lets move on anyway - Are we out of the race for all these free transfers then?

I know fine well where I am, and i know fine well who im talking about. If people cant take a light hearted look at the transfer valuations Dalglish put on players then woe is me. Its not like its a secret that he wasnt great in the market, or are we sweeping that all under the carpet? Le Mesmer has overstepped the mark here btw.

True. Just pointing out that blaming certain quarters cant be done until we hear more about what happened. For all we know, our targets could have screwed us over on the last day for the lols.
