Although its frustrating I don't want us to get ripped off. If we give into their demands too easily we will have set a precedent where all teams will know they can take us for a ride and ask astronomical prices for players. Darren Bent is not worth 24m.. but maybe Villa did what they had to do because they are clearly s*** scared about getting relegated. I guess thats the counter argument. Spend to get things done. I've so confused myself....

I think if Raul plays in the centre and stops bottling challenges then eventually he will give more than Lucas. He got more technical ability. He just needs to settle.

I guess the real question about Charlie Adams boils down to.. is he better than our other midfielders..? Gerrard NO Merieles NO Lucas MAYBE Poulsen FOR THE LOVE OF GOD YES!!

I reckon the Suarez deal is pretty much done and dusted.. we wouldn't be letting Babel go without signing another striker.. if Torres gets injured we'd be buggered... Kenny will have let the owners understand this and made sure another forward came in.. IMO though i think we needed another 2 attacking options even if Babel stayed.

In all seriousness lets summarise.. as far as I know from reading websites and forums.. the general idea is that we have enquired. He wants to to come to Liverpool but Ajax want €23 and we have offered around €18 + Babel or maybe less and Babel. Babel would be willing to return to Ajax....
