Agree with the sentiment of this thread. Thank f*ck it's over indeed. I was around when Souness was having a mare and can remember how abysmal things were then. But this season has been far, far worse. I just don't know where to begin.. Owners that couldn't give a flying f*ck about this great club, internal politics destroying any sense of everyone working towards the same goals, shocking transfer policies (admittedly underpinned by tightening of purse strings), underperforming players (yes that includes Gerrard), negative tactics most weeks and of course a squad littered with "average" some would say s*** players. It really has been brurtal. I look forward with dread to the draw for the Qualifying Round of the Europa League when we draw some part time Estonian outfit. Jesus, we've sunk so low. God know's what will happen in the summer but as low as I am today, I'll be back for more. There's not much to be positive about but I guess all we can do is remember these times and if/when the good times come back, it will be all the more sweeter. This great club will rise again people.
