A trophy ? F'ckin ell mate he wont even win an away game
-
Aye the money could - imagine how many poulsens you could get with £70 million A better idea would be to sack hodgson tomorrow and give kenny a go and see if he can get a squad with 80% of the players who got us to 2nd and we where beating Real and Utd 4-0 and 4-1 19 months ago back up the league
-
Has anyone got a subscription to the times website ? Tony Barret has written an atricle tonight confirming torres cant stand hodgson and is off in one of the next 2 transfer windows
-
I know what you mean - I have never hated a Liverpool manager before - I actually detest this fella Every time I see him on the telly I want to boot the screen in I am usually a calm, mild mannered chap - and I am being driven to madness
-
I'd take Moyes over Hodgson Honestly - I was watching Houllier doing Villa's press conference and even started missing him thats how bad Hodgson is That f'ckin divvy purslow turned down the man who created the greatest Liverpool team EVER from the money he got from Ian Rush for this senile wreck Seriously - tonight things completely changed - EVERY single Liverpool forum have gone ballistic and ALL want this f'ckin embarrassment out now. I have NEVER seen this before - get rid of him before he does serious damage and it gets nasty at the match
-
Des talks sense shock

35 years experience ? F'ckin ell lad - so if I work in Mcdonalds for 34 years does that mean I'm qualified to go and work for Gordon Ramsey He is not one of Europes most respected coaches - he has NEVER won f'ck all of note Look at the clubs he has managed and the win ratio's here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Hodgson He is a f'ckin tool and he was NEVER good enough for Liverpool - he nearly relegated blackburn last time he got hold of a half decent premier league team and he is doing it again at Liverpool F'ckin sack him tomorrow - every LFC forum is saying exactly the same - get rid before he makes even more of a show of us
-
Hodgson is the only f'cker on earth who winds me up more than my ex bird. He gets on my t***, he is an embarrassment to the club both on and off the pitch. You dont know what you have got till its gone and thats exactly how I feel now about Rafa - some of rafa's decisons used to drive me round the bend but when you take a step back and look at it we we had four golden years and one bad one and then decided to go from the premier league to the conference in terms of managers. F'ckin Vikiing in Norway hodgson was managing when we won the european cup, every time he opens his mouth I want to scream - he is a talentless t** of epic proportions
-
There is only one sensible option in all of this Get a new CEO in ASAP - then get him to sack roy and bring kenny in as caretaker before bringing rafa back home in the summer
-
- I have come out of exile to save us from this f'cker we have in charge. He's that bad we need to all let the new owners and his mates in the press that we dont want him The yanks have gone now, purlsows gone (after completly destoring the footballing side of the club) and now its time for this f'ckin idiot to go to
-
He is a cluless, senile idiot who is humiliating the club both on and off the pitch All the new owners need to do is to log on to any LFC forum to see what we all think of him. Get rid of him NOW - no waiting, he has done enough damage - he is completely out of his depth Worst appointment ever - he is NEVER a liverpool manager - in terms of talent and in terms of attitude. What clown would pick him over kenny. Get Kenny back in tomorrow morning before this gets nasty and the whole f'ckin ground turns against him I havent posted on here for years, same old faces I see talking sh'te PaulM - formerly known as Huyton_Red

Huang gave an interview last week and said he didnt think any deal would be done so I cant see how he is suddenly going to walk away just because of the transfer window He is probably going to walk away because of price and he will just come back and get it off the bank in a couple of months
-
Recent history regarding liverpool FC and ownership issues dicates that this will be another let down, be prepared to be disappointed Huang has pulled out or something else equally depressing will have occured
-
What you saw yesterday, what you saw at Portsmouth and what you have saw for lots of games this season is the depressing site of a Liverpool WITHOUT gerrard, he has been out injured and has hit a bad run of form and it has been left to the other players to do their bit for a change and what you are seeing is what Liverpool could conceivably become without their captain To blame gerrard in any way for this mess defies all logic The team is on a death spiral and the management team seem unable to do anything about it. That is what scares the bloody life out of me and it must scare the bloody life out of gerrard, who at 29 is watching another false dawn appear in front of his eyes. This summer was an absolute disaster in the transfer market, the manager kicked up murder last easter to get 'full control' over what he spends on who he spends it on and the first summer he is given that he absolutely f'cks it up blowing the lot on a right back and then bringing in a central midfielder who will not be properly match fit till easter We need to get one thing absolutely clear here, our team is littered with fantastic footballers, players other managers would give their right arm to have but the basics of motivation, organisation and fight have completely dissapeared. That is what every single Liverpool fan should be worried about, Alonso was a good player and without him there is no one to link the midfield to the two best players in the team up front however he was not the bloody superman many are now making him out to be. This is to all intents and purposes the same bloody team that was in my opinion the best in Europe from January to May this year. If it was simply a matter of bad players I would be less worried, but it seems that the manager has lost the players, I do not have a clue why but also seems unable to inject beleif and confidence in them or to address basic weaknesses like our ability to defend set peices It has been horrific, if this carrys on till May they HAVE to change the manager, there is absolutely not question about it. If you cant compete over 12 months with Riera, Agger, Carragher, Mascerano, Benayoun, Riera, Gerrard, Torres etc then there is something rotten at the core and it will not get any better. Blaming gerrard for this is nonsense
-
Are you having a laugh lad ???????????? Do you HONESTLY blame Hicks and Gillet for this horror season that we are experiencing I cant fathom some of our fans, honestly I cant. We where absolutely atrocious yesterday AGAIN against a championship side who outfought and outplayed us. They hardly created anything again, hardly surprising given we had a left back on the wing again and Gerrard was told to sit in front of the defence with lucas completely isolating Ngogg and Torres I was reading the paper this morning looking at pictures of Voronin and his bird on the beach in Florida The whole thing is an absolute rotten mess and its the managers fault, not the bloody yanks. They are playing bloody atrociously and have been for months for god sake. How many more Readings and Portsmouths are going to be the yanks fault. Considering the opposition etc that was as bad as I have seen for years from a Liverpool team. It is NOT getting any better, this has been going on for FOUR months and it is NOT getting any better It is bloody ridiculous now, I dont blame gerrard for being fed up when he see's some of the sh'te he is being asked to play with every week. January is absolutely VITAL for Liverpool, we need a proper Left winger if Riera is going to be out any longer, we need a proper striker who can back up/help torres and a central midfielder who can pass the f'ckin ball. Lucas was head and shoulders the best Liverpool player on the park yesterday and that says it bloody all. The ghastly mistakes made in the summer when the manager wasted £40 million need addressing, the squad is unbalanced This is a horrific season and it doesnt matter who he buys, if he cant motivate a team and get them working for him then he is dead in the water. It is depressingly similar to Houlliers last season to be honest. Im sorry but a manager with players like Reina, Agger, Carragher, Mascerano, Gerrard, Torres, Benayoun etc etc at his disposal doing so badly beggars f'ckin belief.
-
We dont lack depth, we have loads of players We just lack quality Say our first 11 is Reina Johnson Carragher Agger Insua Kuyt Gerrard Mascerano Aqialini Riera Torres With the exception of Skirtel, Aurelio and benayoun all the others that could come in are not really good players. Thats where our problem is, that team above is the best in the league but we are f'cked when we lose a few players because the ones that come in are rubbish Especially up front, it was madness to go into this season with ngogg and voronin as the only back up for torres, madness. In all other seasons we have had the likes of crouch or keane to back up the striker
-
I think rafa is boss at buying top players, your £10 million + ones but he is less successful with the lower priced players when you have to pick a gem up for under £10 million Reina and Benayoun are the only two I can think of who have turned out boss, the rest have failed to set the world alight. Agger as well maybe, if he can stay fit. The squad players he has bought arent the best like are they, our first 11 is the best in the league I think but under that we are very poor in almost every position And as for younger players, he must have bought about 40 over the last few years and none of them as yet have made the step up apart from Insua nor do any of them look likely to be honest,
-
Hypthetically Speaking, if we were not to get 4th
PaulM replied to madaboutlfc 's topic in Liverpool FC
I am not worried because when everyone is fit we will bounce all over the rest of the league again just like we did last season. When we are all fit we are the best first 11 in the country - I am not even remotely worried about us not getting into the top four City are f'ckin rubbish - Utd and Arsenal are nothing special as well, Chelsea will win the league by the looks of it but the rest are nothing special Dont panic for f'ck sake. Its a little blip - we will get through it. -
I think carragher was to far away from anelka for the first and he was made to look silly by drogba for the second He is having a bad run of form, first one in about six years I hasten to add, but a bad run of form never the less The problem we have is against the better teams we seem to struggle to get the ball to gerrard and torres from midfield, I thinks its time to play gerrard in midfield and give yossi a proper run off torres untill we can get aqualine back into midfield This is no bad reflection on lucas who I thought was ok again yesterday and is getting better every game however he doesnt have the distribution to turn defence into attack quickly and we end up chasing the play instead of dictating it against teams with good central midfields Completely changed the game when he came on again yesterday did yossi. This system does not work with lucas and mascerano in terms of fluid attacking against teams with strong midfields. None of them are untouchable. I would like to see him try Babbel, right side from the start as well to see how he does, move dirk up front or play yossi there
-
Yes but what if this saudi 'investment company' borrows the £250 million to buy uncle george out ? In essence placing even more debt on the club
-
Has anyone thought that Uncle George maybe about to sell his half of the club for £250 million and then take all the money himself walking away with a £125 million profit ?
-
If carragher was on the pitch we would have one of the best centre backs in the league in the first 11 who would has been the lychpin of the leagus best defence for two seasons Not to mention his passion and sheer will to win when it comes to Liverpool
-
If the two centre backs are so poor and wouldnt get a game for any of the top sides, including spurs and city etc etc blah blah blah How come we have not conceded a goal from open play all season ? And how come we had the best defensive record in the league for the last two seasons ? Just wondering like - how we managed this, with for the most part, carragher and skirtel playing centre back If we can do that with poor centre backs, cant wait till we buy two good ones, imagine that, we wont concede goals from set plays as well as from open play from January because we will have good centre backs at last when we buy them Cant wait Carragher is obviously finished - giving a pen away after getting outpaced by a mini linford christie, I would much rather have rio in there at that back, he would never get outpaced like that in the penalty area by a speedy striker
-
I agree I liked that formation for playing at home I would use it away as well, against the weaker teams Riera offers us good balance on the left and Johnson allows yossi or Dirk to drift in and cause problems
-
In my opinion 'action' is just going to have a negative impact on the club and the chances of success are extremely slim if not non existent I used to post on this forum all the time under a different name and I have been listening to all the arguments for two years from both sides and I am not convinced they are all that bad to be honest Yes, the staduim has not been built because we can not borrow any money but would this have been any different with any new owner, even DIC who are just in essence a private equity company who borrow to buy things and then sell at a profit. There is no appetite globally for any bankers to lend £300 million for a staduim. Are we blaming the credit crunch on the onwers because we all knew the money for the staduinm was going to be borrowed, be it by moores, DIC or hick/gillete or whoever What about the squad ? I think the manager has been backed and backed well in the transfer market to be honest, even this summer. I am just benchmarking us against our rivals and in the last two years we have spent far more than Chelse, Arsenal and Utd. I hear the argument about Utd and Chelsea having bigger squads initially than Liverpool but is that the new owners fault ? Since they have been in charge we have outspent everyone, city apart. Even this summer, Arsenal and Utd made huge losses in terms of transfer budget, Chelsea bought only one player. Yes we did only break even in terms of what we spent but I bet Wenger and Ferguson wish they where allowed to break even this summer. I just think that no one ever looks at anything positive in terms of the last two years, we would never have got anywhere near Torres, Mascerano, and Johnson - even Keane under the previous owner. We have moved into an entirely new league in terms of what we spend on players since the americans took over. Maybe I am looking at things to simply but in my opinion they arent that bad
