We've been incredibly lucky with injuries this season.

I wonder if it's down to how we train or was last season just really unlucky?

The mancs have been hounded by injuries this season yet are still ahead of us in the league.

If they get the right midfielders in the summer they could really be a threat for the league again

next year.

Bar the obvious striker and RW issues to be sorted in the summer do people feel we'll have enough about us come the start of the season to really push on? I think this summers signings are going to be really critical. It's the Diouf, Cheryou and Diao senario again. I've no idea what our forward line will look like next season but I can't bloody wait.

they haven't had that many injuries have they? Heinze - sure he's a loss but who else?

I'm sure they have. Neville was out for ages. Smith and Scholes in an already small pool of midfielders after Keane going as well. I've been surprised by how well they've done with no decent central midfield to speak of really.

If we can get a forward line working aswell as theirs we'll be unstoppable next season.

I think it'll be easier to get quality forwards, and intergrate them into the side, than getting the quality, and amount of midfielders man utd need.

Smith was a bit part player at best, it's like us complaining about losing Mellor this season, and Keane was released, a managerial decision. Scholes is really thier only major injury, possibly Heinze but he's not key. How long was Giggs out for? I can't remember, plus he's not the key player he was either.

When you look at us last year, with key players Alonso, Gerrard, Cisse and Baros all out for extended periods, and their backups being long term injured at the same, you can't really compare. Last season was absurd.

This year we've lost Zenden for the entire season and Kewell out for the first quarter of the season was unfit post operation next quarter. We've also lost Momo, Crouch and Morientes for extended periods (5-6 matches in a row) and we consider this incredibly lucky. Scum have had worse luck with injuries this year, but not by that much.

If they lost rooney with a broken leg, or ligament injury, they'd be fecked and would struggle to finish top 4.
