i was sat a few seats away for veggard heggem in the paddock

 

sat there reading his programme minding his own business till kick off bless him

 

after the 3rd goal went in & we had all stopped jumping around mum said to him "enjoying the game veggard" & he smiled with a big smug grin on his face

he's defo there! Bordeaux game was on live on the tellybox here today, and he came on as a sub late in the 2nd half.

Vedgy is really a top lad.

 

Still comes over to see the redmen in action from time to time.

 

Pity he had some much trouble with his hamstring, good player.

 

One of few decent Norwegian players we've had.

Always remember that game at home to Newcastle when Owen and Riedle scored twice and we came from 2-0 down. Heggem played brilliantly in the second half that day.

 

And his two great goals against Middlesbrough of course.
