Yellow Sky in St. Helens

Kind of. Not sure how much of it is bona-fide air though. Right near Pilks (Actually at the head office) so we get that nice white smoke blowing over us all day - still that's better than the Sulphuric Acid gas that drifts across the St. Michaels golfcourse when the release chimney fires off that factory over the road.

Ah the memories...not...

"Don't go to Sutton, if you don't want yer head kicked in...

At Clock Face the Chinese serves ally dogs and rabid rats...

Don't go to Sutton, if youdon't want yer head kicked in...

Questions for Andy...

The Hotties - does it still exist?

I know West Park Grammar School's gone and Notre Dame is now a Hippy Catholic commune ;)

Is Rainhill still a forgetable hamlet striding the train line?

Billinge? Is it still there?

A distant relative of mine was once the Mayor of St Helens...poor sod...

not sure - pilks have built a new museum down that way.

Dad ain't to please as he built/ designed some of the original stuff at the old Prescot Road site.

shall enquire of the folks at the weekend

I know West Park Grammar School's gone and Notre Dame is now a Hippy Catholic commune ;)

West Park is now a housing estate (i'm sure we've talked about this before!? I was brought up in Eccleston)

Notre Dame is now a De La Salle (sp) & has a good rep (no more Brothers!)

Is Rainhill still a forgetable hamlet striding the train line?

a*** end of no-where

dad was so pleased with himself when he get offered a job at Rainhill high - then again moving anywhere from St.Helens Central was a move up!

Billinge? Is it still there?

sadly - comes under the heading of wigan.

Crank is also still there - almost - dispite Pickavance mining most of it away

A distant relative of mine was once the Mayor of St Helens...poor sod...

Aye but half the england team are injured.

Will see how we get on firrst.

Liverpool first, Saints second, Lancs third, england well off down the track and round the corner.

sounds about right

I must admit to choosing to watch saints before england (footie)

I've actually been to Baroda - where England are playing - a*** end of nowhere - alchohol free veggie state - had to bribe local officials to get a bittle of whiskey!
