The last 6 weeks

13 points we have dropped out of 21.

We could of been playing Arsenal on Tuesdsay and win would of put us TOP of the league.

Amazing isnt it, we where all talking about how great chelsea are and how the league was over and if we had won FIVE games in which we dropped points this year we could of gone top on Tuesday.

Another thing that will make the players feel even worse, if we had beaten Bolton, Charlton and Birmingham - all games we should of won we could of got within five points of Cheslea if we win our game in hand on Tuesday even after losing to Chelsea and Man Utd.

Another angle, what could a little spending spree have acheived in January, what would the arrival of two top players and the boost to the quality and moral of the team done, could that have helped prevent this little blip and gace us a fantastic chance of winning the league.

What a waste, what a time to have a little blip, but who says it won happen in the next six weeks or the six weeks after that, NEVER give up on any league title, the last six weeks prove why.

Bolton, Charlton and Birmingham - f'ckin ell lads you could of been right up there and Chelsea would of sh't themselves

Would Chelsea have lost yesterday if we'd got so close? Not really worth worrying about all the ifs and shoulds is it?

The post was meant to point out the fact that cheslea are not as invincible as everyone makes out in the title race. In six week we could of overtaken them, wth three wins against teams we shoulf beaten we could of been very close to them

Its not about patience etc with Liverpool. It is a what if post that is meant to tell us all not to give up on the title yet.

And the work in progress, I agree, what if a bit more of that work had been done in January.

surely when you factor in Chelsea's blip with the fact they are 12points clear it does just go to show they are terrific.

I still think we'll have them next year as they can only play 11

After the terrible start we had to the premiership season we were always going to find it hard to claw those points back and it has been an uphill struggle since that time,we are making great progress as a team and that is what pleases me the most,as for the league title, well im pretty confident we will do that next season.
