how can I check which version I have installed on my PC?

 

I have XP media centre OS.

Start

Run

type in ' dxdiag '

 

You have at least 8.1 as part of XP. Latest version is 9.

Click on "start" then click on "run" then type "dxdiag" in the open box and click "ok" and the directx diagnostic tool should open up...........the version should be on there.
