Valencia back on track

It's taken them 18 months to get over Rafa - but 3 coaches later, it FINALLY seems they are back on track Up to 3rd in the league now, and doing nicely it seems. And with them having no Yeropean footy, maybe a decent shout for 2nd (at least ).

Villa looks like a cracking signing and Aimar is back on form, they're still a bit inconsistent though.

I loved the bit in the Benitez book when shortly after Raneri took over at Valancia, one of the defenders asked how they should defend against their next opponents, Raneri said 'you have just been crowned champions, defend as you always do' the defender replies 'we had 6 different systems of defence, depending on opponent!' Raneri apparantly looked confused...

 

Good old Rafa. always prepared!
