Clark shouldn't be called up full stop

NSW biase and all that...

McGrath should play, would be surprised if he doesn't. They should've called up Watson who made a double ton for Hampshire on the weekend, but unfortunately he ain't from NSW so he can't be called up

I'm no cricket expert, but wouldn't bringing in another batter (collingwood) not be better for england than bringing in a bowler(anderson)

England only need to draw to win the series so the longer they can bat in both innings the more chance there is of that happening.

On the flip side, England have consistently taken wickets against the Aussies and therefore put them under pressure and stopped them posting big targets. The Aussies are the masters at posting a big target and skittling you out twice.

IMO, it's better to bring in a 'strike' bowler like Anderson and continue the mentality of trying to take 20 Aussie wickets every match than to shore up the batting and play for the draw.

In the dressing room they should be focussed on winning this game and the series. If it comes to when to declare then the fact that a draw wins the series should be taken into account and we should bat them out of the match rather than setting a target.

Attack is often the best form of defence.

That's the answer to question number 2, ?Who's going to bare his even-an-adolescent-would-think-twice 3-lions tattoo at every opportunity in an insecure plea for acceptance??

Collingwood's inclusion would be a negative decision - it says we can't guarantee to sustain the pressure with our bowling options, and it also runs the considerable risk that Colingwood won't perform. He's a fine cricketer, but even the superior technical batsmen in the England side took a while to adjust to Warne, McGrath, & Lee, it would be asking too much of Collingwood to go in cold against them in a vital game when he is expected to post a big score and has not faced them before at this level.

Anderson, though an expensive bowler, can be a dangerous one and the expected dampness over the week-end should assist his swing. He'll kepe the pressure on the Aussies from that point of view in a way Coolingwood might not be able to wite the bat.
