Starting to think it'll just be Barcola.

Nah.

Iraola sounds as desperate for a RW as the rest of us.

I'm sure he is.

I don't think Hughes or FSG are bothered too much about what the manager wants really.

Plus a midfielder and a RB.

Feel like we have been here lots of times...

Sending Elliott out on loan is moronic as well, we're short at 10 and RW, why are we getting rid of another body?

Getting someone off the wages who the manager thinks is not good enough is not moronic

what is moronic is not getting a fee for him last year but even then we struggled to get takers

There isn’t a premier league club prepared to buy him even for 10-15 million.

That’s the reality.

So we were/are prepared to spend more on Sarr than Mbaye.

I'm fine with the idea that we establish a value on players and if another club are willing to overpay, then so be it. Mbaye might be valued by us at £30m but is going for £50m. Long as we actually get the guy we choose, it's all good. Big f***ing leap of faith needed though that we do

I'm appreciative though as it means we're in for a helluva few days. More exciting than most telly

He's 18, and I wonder how many of you have seen him? I haven't so I'm not arsed at all.

The way I look at it if he's any good we can buy him off Villa in a couple of seasons for £150 million.

GET IN!

Hopefully we are.

Or maybe we get 'Liverpool do not expect to add further to their squad, instead allowing Iraola to see how the current squad adapt to his methods before assessing the market and Minteh's recovery from injury in January' after Barcola.

Harvey is Championship level, and none of those wanted him either.. Lazy slow and unfit.. not a good look.

18 yr old troublemaker with a gobschite of a ma. No fkin thanks. Villa are welcome to him.

This “tough mama” stuff comes from one (1) article. It’s the same as with Mbappe’s and Rabiot’s mums. Mums in football business = bad. Somehow all the chicanery that goes on everyday in football and any other business conducted by males is the expected normal outcome, but when a “mum” enters the picture, it gets loads of bad press. Mbaye is with Jorge Mendes now, and he’s a the most exploitative  a****** in the business.
