Any ante-post fancies for the Aintree version on Sat?

A few weeks ago on here i advised backing Killyglen. Much bigger price then. It's now 16-1 pretty much everywhere including Betfair. Will be ridden by Robbie Power, who won on Silver Birch for us a few years ago

Looked like it might be quick ground a few weeks ago but is now expected to be soft - one of the reasons i backed Killyglen is that he's not ground dependant.

Quiscover Fontaine has a chance at longer odds

Always Right is bred to be a National winner but has been dire in it's last two runs. I'm hoping the trainer has solved the problem. Will wait til Saturday to back that though

If it becomes really testing then Smoking Aces comes into calculations if enough horses drop out prior to final declarations - i'd expect a few if soft going was likely. Currently at 275 in the win market so i've had a few quid win and place.

Always waining is a horse that loves Aintree, I hope he gets into the national, be interested to see if he gets in

He qualified due to winning a 3 miles chase 5 years ago - since then he hasn't won or been placed in a chase over that distance or further. Won the Topham twice ( as you know since you backed him ) but that's over shorter. I wouldn't back it for the National.

I wouldn't back Giles Cross either. People have backed it due to the soft ground and it's shortened several points but if it jumps round, i think it will tire and fade in the last mile.

Sentimentality says I have to back it for the national!!!

But, I doubt it will stay like

VCBET or Victorbet or whatever its called. Place a £20 bet on Thursday's 1540 and get a £20 free bet on the National and 20 free spins in their casino.

Use Betfair to match out the Thursday bet for a £1-2 loss and hey presto, a free £20 bet on the national.

Boxer Georg would be my pick in that race

Its raining at Aintree - rivers of orange on Ladies Day

get in

my bitch got a spray tan last night for the occasion

told her........hate the look of it and the smell

wait, you're a 'lady' - do you find the term 'bitch' as a reference for one's partner offensive? I can rephrase accordingly if so

Haha I've been called worse

I was going to make a comment about 'horses for courses' but thought it may be taken the wrong way :P
