Bit of local knowledge needed

My cousin is moving to the Liverpool/Chesire area soon for a year and needs to decide where to live. He has four options - Clatterbridge, Fazakerley, Halton or Chester.

 

He's around 23 or 24, studious type but still goes out pubbing/clubbing etc.

 

Anyone from those areas who could point him in the right direction?
