Retrieving Mail from a Corrupt Outlook Install

I have Outlook and Microsoft Office (2000) installed on a Wndows 7 PC. Outlook now locks up when it is opened.

Seems a lot of other people have this issue

 

 

The PC has Windows Live Mail now, so I'm not looking to fix Outlook, but my question is where is the mail in Outlook stored on a Windows 7 PC and is it a simple task to copy that mail and paste it into the Windows Live Mail app folders (which are where ) ?
