listening to 'She Bangs the Drums' last night & remembering the first time I heard the song, in early 89, then reading the review picking out that line & thinking, "yeah f*****s!" The future was mine, ours and the Stone Roses'. It spoke for the acid-house generation, this was the start of our (formative) lives. We could do anything, it was all there to be grabbed by the b******s.

 

No longer. Where have those 20 years gone? The future is certainly no longer mine...
