Did anyone see the program the other night about the two lads that designed the game Elite?

 

It was the first ever 3D game and was developed at home by a couple of students called Brabben and Bell. The whole game worked on a computer that had 22kb of memory, that’s less than the memory used to send a normal email. The game had 8 universes and 2000 planets all with docking stations and people. It was probably the best and most addictive game ever invented and caused a lot of problems at home.
