Carpet Wrong

Last weekend I went to Carpet Right and bought new carpets for the front room, 2 bedrooms and hallway/stairs. Cheap, off the roll carpets, as I don't think I'll be at this place for long. I got a friend round who has done carpetting before and we thought we'd give it a go.

 

Sunday night, carpetted the kids bedrooms, and the front room. Monday night, I dismantled a bloody enormous wardrobe, so we could carpet our bedroom.

 

Took four bloody hours, mainly because the carpet barely fitted. Finished about 2am, having started at 10pm, and I was absolutely shattered, but proud that I'd done such a good job. Called my wife upstairs to have her check out my achievement, and she takes one look and says:

 

 

"That's the hallway carpet - what's it doing in the bedroom?"
