He came down and played in a local 5 a side competition after he retired. Some of my mates know Steve Perryman and he got Jimmy in to play as it was a charity event. The local hoolies kicked seven kinds of sh*te out of him, it didn't go down well at all and fair play to Jimmy for the way he handled it.

The old dear who works behind the bar in my golf club is the sister of Mike Keane, ex QPR Captain and Kevin Keen's (West ham and Celtic) uncle. Poor old Mavis was really upset yesterday when she told me Mike died on Sunday as well. He played in the 1967 League Cup final when 3rd division QPR came back from 2-0 down at wembley against WBA, a young Rodney Marsh scored as I recall.

RIP Mike and Jimmy.

Don't think anyone has mentioned this?

58 years old. Tidy player in his time.

How sad i seen jimmy play quite a few times when he was at spurs, he was allways a very honest player.

Who allways gave a 100%.

R.I.P. jimmy.
