Anyone use an ultra-mobile laptop, Eee pc etc?

Have just ordered an MSI Wind, sight unseen, to hopefully replace my old Dell Inspiron ($450 dollars seemed like a good deal). It has a 10" screen, 1 GB RAM, 80Gb hard drive I think, XP Home.

 

Can't help but wonder if this type of ultra mobile pc might be too small to be of much use - anyone got any experience? Something tells me Benitez posted something about an Eee pc ages ago. It's going to get used for 3 things - web surfing, presenting powerpoint presentations and hopefully playing Football Manager. Will it do all that easily enough? How much can you actually see on a screen that small?
