Manchester is getting geared up to welcome Gordon et al for the weekend.

 

the gmex is cordoned off, the Midland hotel is being guarded 24hrs by police and security. cops posted every 20 metres or so

 

The gmex car-park is full of police vans

 

Stop the War Coalition, CND, and loads of other groups are planning a massive demonstration

 

 

I can see this kicking off big-time

 

I'm off to Liverpool for the match - can't afford to get arrested
