DAB radio in Ireland

What's the situation with this? I was going to buy my Mom one for her Birthday (always has a crackly radio on) but wasn't sure what channels you can get?! Excuse my ignorance but can you pick up all the usual ones like 5 live for sport and bbc radio 2,3,4 etc. like in the uk or is it different?

 

 

Does anyone know how this works?
