f***ing ipods and itunes

i'm travelling abroad so am using a public computer in a web cafe. i have my ipod plugged into it with 40gig of music on. i have downloaded some podcasts onto the desktop here which i want to transfer onto my ipod. how do i do this please? do i import the mp3 podcasts into itunes and then synch it with my ipod or will this overwrite all my music? i f***ing hate itunes, jobs is a c***. thanks in advance for the help.
