Didn't see this anywhere else, so anyway - Tesco have bought the land off Valley Road in Kirkby needed for them and the new Everton Aisle....they'll be gone from our city before too long.

woo hoo! I remember voting on a couple of sites posing as an everton fan in support of this move.

 

Wonder if they will change their strip to have white vertical stripes?

Think there was an article in the Echo the other day, looks like there were going to be 2 possible developments in Kirkby, but whoever owned current premises needed a big tenant to come to make it work, evidently tried to get ASDA back to Kirkby but they said no, too close to Switch Island store...they also said something about Tesco having their permissions sewn up so they are selling up and getting out, evidently glad to get the money now even though they claim no capital gain on sale as with Tesco site their values will reduce. According to my mum some of the leaseholders are mighty miffed as they are now being forced out...so looks like Tesco is making its moves and Liverpool will be one city one club....will the new tramline stretch to N Wales?

There is a new Tesco opening up in Bailieborough in Co. Cavan here in Ireland. Its a total s***hole of a town. Perfect.

 

Plus, according to Moyes Everton 'The Peoples Club' have a big following in Ireland.
