alternative to PeerGuardian?

I've had Peerguardian on my laptop which has XP. And I was downloading stuff on there. But for whatever reason, I'm having trouble getting the port forwarding lark working there, and my broadband has been playing funny fecers since I got tiscali TV. So I dont' want to change the settings again.

 

So downloading on my PC, which has vista, but Peerguardian doesn't support vista at the mo it says.

 

What do people use in its place when downloading via bittorent?
