Electric shavers v Blades

Always stayed away from the electric ones as I've heavy-ish growth and they never got the job done compared with the Gillete blades or similar. Yesterday I bought the Philips arcitec 1050 and I have to say it's excellent. Compares quite well with the normal blades and you get done in a fraction of the time. Cost about €180 so not the cheapest but well worth a try.
