Seriously. I just booked two flights to San Francisco in March. I wanted to check the prices and cancelled before the transaction had completed, but received a confirmation email.

 

 

I tried ringing to cancel but all I would get back is the taxes. Making a case to customer services takes 8 weeks with Aerlingus, the flights are in 14.
