Shower of complete f***ing incompetents

A University in the London area which will remain nameless has managed to completely f*** up my PhD application.

Apparently it takes 6-8 weeks to process the applications, so I submitted electronically on the 16th October, and posted off the other parts I needed. However because of the cocking postal strikes they didn't receive the posted bits until the 25th October.

So I settled in to wait for all my replies to come in. I've been offered one place already, the other London ones sadly turned me down but I've been waiting to hear back from this other Uni before making my mind up.

Upon hearing that the institution who have made me an offer need to know my decision by the 21st, I decided tha talthough the 8 weeks weren't up yet I'd ring up London and see how things were going. And guess what?

They received my application fine, but seem to have forgotten to actually do anything with it, so it's just been sat somewhere (they don't know where as they can't find it at the moment) for the past 7 f***ing weeks.

So now they assure me they're going to put a rush on it, and try and let me know how things are looking tomorrow.

Shower of complete and utter c****. It's a f***ing good job I've already got one offer or I'd be even more livid then I am now. They've got one week to turn this around or I'm going to have to write it off and take the offer I've got, when the whole point of the sodding exercise was to give me as many options as possible.
