My wife is pestering me for ideas for a crimbo present. There is nothing I need so she suggested a new camera. I think I'll go for that as my Canon Powershot A80 is yonks old now so it might be a good time to update.

 

I just want a point and shoot, not an SLR. I don't need 10m pixels as once it gets over 5m it's all much of a muchness. I want one which is really small and ight but with a big screen. I have a fondness for Canon (as the image quality on my last camera was out of this world) but I am not against trying others if it is highly recommended.

 

What do you have and would you recommend it? I would imagine she'll nt want to pay more than £180-£200.
