fans of city of god (its practically the flipside of that) should download, theres a version with an english subtitles file knocking around on the torrents.

 

because it's based on true events, and is blatantly exposing the systems of corruption, in the various branches of the rio police force; the film was blocked from theatrical release for months, before a leak meant that so many people had seen it online they couldn't prevent it showing.
