Dee Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 On the back of some discussions & arguments both in here and at home, myself and my partner decided at the start of Sept to use only local producers for food and other produce. Essentially meaning not using any supermarkets/chains for food produce - but instead using independent suppliers.I've been to Tesco/Asda/Morrisons et al - all month and it's worked out great! We get deliveries of local produce once a week and shop for whatever else we need in a local co-operative market in Chorlton. Yesterday we also got an allotment plot - 150 sq ft It needs a complete dig & weeding We're thinking of a small polytunnel - does anyone have experience of growing veg/fruit in a tunnel? if so, what have you found good? Any advice from green fingers is welcome
