Our "HR" manager, who has 3 complaints for improper conduct has now gone and thrown his toys out of the pram. One of the girls in finance won't bow down before the little sh*t so he decided to get his own back. He found her messing on Bebo so went to our IT guy (who only ever had an issue with over use of youtube) and demanded that something be put in place to block all sites like Bebo, Myspace and Youtube. Fair enough.

Even though the IT guy said that there wsn't a problem with over use of any of those sites mentioned and that it would be fairly stingy.

He then when presented with a list of options decides to ban all instant messaging services, radio streams and chat rooms.

 

What p*sses me all the way off is that he has pointed her out trying to blame her. She feels guilty as hell.
