For those of you who do not like Depeche Mode

They're my favourite band and I really enjoy their music (from Speak and Spell all the way through to Playing the Angel).

 

Would those of you who don't like them, please tell me why? I don't understand this whole "They're a bit depressing" thing that I get from some of my friends. To me they're the exact opposite (if you listen closer to their lyrics and some of their melodies).
