C*NT.

Three months ago I'm driving along, in a straight ahead lane over a set of traffic lights, when a grade A c*nt in a black Range Rover decides to cut across from the right hand filter lane, and tw*ts the rear panel of my car with the front of his. I stop, get out, wait for him to get out so we can exchange details. He just sits in his car and won't get out. He's scratched the paintwork on the rear panel of my car. I make a note of his reg and get back in my car after giving him plenty of time to get out.

I report it to the police and my insurance company. I get the car fixed, pay the excess and my insurance company instructs a set of lawyers to go get the money from his insurers. All OK so far.

Except...

He's refused to respond, has disputed my version of events (even though it is my rear panel with the damage and I wasn't reversing at the time, that's for sure). My renewal has now come up, and lo and behold, your no-claims doesn't apply if there's a case outstanding. So my insurance premium is now £600 more expensive (plus the £300 excess). The lawyers have sent out a court summons but have warned me it could take 6 months to resolve. They reckon my case is way better than his, I've provided photos of the scene (but not the accident, I was too flustered at the time to take a snap - let that be a lesson to everyone else), full statement to the police, the damage to my car is perfectly in line with my version of events, etc...etc...

So, I'm £900 down for up to six months, while this c*nt plays silly buggers and denies he's tw*tted my car.

The utter and complete c*nt.

The police report came back and gave me his name and address.

Suggestions please.
