Good and Bad day, nothing in the middle.

Got to work this morning and air con gone wrong in one of our biggest buildings, about 700 staff out of work, 4 floors flooded, had to go into DR mode, only our DR site aint ready, so it was decided to do an emergency set up in the emergency planning room, after all that is what it is therefore. The emergency team didn't know what to do, just sat there while we rushed around setting up a service, phones and PC's, for anyone contacting the Council. Then started moaning and complaining about all these peolle in there massive expanse of room that normally just houses the three of them. Telling us where and when we can set phones and PC's, how many they were gonna let into work, didn't want anyone using their milk!?!? Had to walk away at one point, and in then end had to remind them, that they were the emergency team, this was an emergency planning suit and contingency room, and we happened to be in the middle of a f***ing emergency! Tossers are on double or more than me aswell, but haven't got a f***ing clue. We have had two foold situation since I've been here and guess what the emergency planning room is below the water level in a basement so when we needed it most, it was under two foot of f***ing water.

Had a problem with our roof leaking, got the roofer out today and our roof is o.k., all the problems are comming from our f***ing neighbour who dosen't look after his house. We have had to get work on Shared drainage and guttering before and he never f***ing pays up, so now its his actual f***ing porperty what chances am I gonna get to get him to do something about it!! Nada, nano, not a jot, no chnace, thats what.

Anyways at lunchtime, I found out that the Boys were back in town!

And my friend has had invited me and the mrs for a meal at the best chinese around our parts, for free, for his wifes 40th.

So my day has been full of highs or lows with nothing in between, whadda about you's?
