Who Wants To Be A Lairy Pisshead?

Television presenter Chris Tarrant has been bailed after being arrested following an incident at an Indian restaurant in Nottingham.

Police received a 999 call at about 2200 BST on Sunday from a man who claimed he had been assaulted.

They attended the MemSaab curry house on Maid Marian Way, where they arrested a 60-year-old man.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said the man was "bailed to a date in June pending further inquiries".

The Who Wants to be a Millionaire? presenter has rarely been out of the headlines since the collapse of his marriage last year.

Tarrant and his wife Ingrid separated after a series of stories appeared in the media accusing Tarrant of an affair. The couple divorced in February.

The presenter's publicist could not be reached for comment.
