Something for the flu

I've been stuck in bed with the flu since Thursday and it doesnt seem to be getting any better. Can anyone recommend anything that will at least make the aches and pains go away. Before anyone suggests either furious masturbation or heavy drug taking both have already been suggested by a couple of people I'm not allowed take most cough mixtures or painkillers because of my epilepsy so if anyone can suggest herbal medicines I'd be interested.
